PHOTOGRAPHER / DESIGNER / FILM MAKER

Tim van Dortmont (1996) is a Delft based designer who works across design disciplines by blending the fields of Product Design, Photography and Graphic Design to investigate alternative and more sustainable materials.

Through exploring the interplay of form, function and the interactions between user and object, he aims to create tangible experiences using a combination of both analog and digital forms of media.

Within his work he investigates the contrast between organic materials and forms created with high-tech ways of manufacturing. A technical and material driven approach to design, together with hands-on way of working allows him to research and create in an experimental way.
